Qoya is an invitation for women to explore the intuitive aliveness within our body and soul. Qoya means 'Queen' in the Peruvian language of Quechua, and was envisioned by New Yorker, Rochelle Schiek as a integration of her training in dance, yoga, and Peruvian Shamanism. It is a profound, trauma-informed practice that calls us back into direct relationship with our innate essence of wisdom and compassion. It offers a cultural paradigm shift beneath mental concepts into the taproot of radiant, intuitive knowing and the felt sense. The 90-minute journey invites us to explore a chosen theme as we journey through breathe, set intentions, move at various tempos, partner share, meet the shadow of the theme, shake it off, and have fun. It's not about ability, or how it looks, but rather honoring how it feels in YOUR body. As most of my classes are virtual, you will need a comfortable space for movement in front of your Zoom screen prepared with a mat or rug, and any other supportive items like water, a cushion or blanket, a candle, or sacred items you desire to be with. Register via email and class fee is by donation($US6-15)via Zelle, Venmo@Rebecca-Rohloff or when live in Guatemala by Q and to be arranged. I would be honored to share this movement medicine with you.

There is no way you can do Qoya wrong, and the way you know you’re doing it right is that it feels good and honest in your body.
